Abstract:	We will discuss bounds for the diameter of a closed hypersurface in Euclidean space by integral mean curvatures. There is an anisotropic scaling technique which applies to several classes, recovering sharp constants. Also, a reduction procedure leads to a result about local non-approximation of smooth hypersurfaces by mildly singular ones.
