Abstract: Compressed sensing is an important idea from information theory, harmonic analysis and statistics and has seen breakthroughs in theory and algorithms in recent years. We analyze imaging problems by using compressed sensing techniques and obtain quantitative estimates which are often sharp in terms of order of magnitudes. We demonstrate our theorems with numerical simulations which produce optimistic results.
